WHEELS / TIRES

This is one of the top 5 most useful items I’ve purchased. Without a TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), there’s no way to know the air pressure or temperature of your tires while driving. This link is for the 6 wheel / 6 sensor version.

These metal valves replace the factory valves, allowing easy access to check the tire pressure on all four of the dually wheels. These also provide the ability to add on a TPMS.

This is a powerful and relatively small 12v air compressor that connects directly to the house batteries under the steps. With my TPMS and this compressor, I have peace of mind that my tires are always properly inflated.

When inflating my tires, I like to have a manual gauge to cross-reference that my tires are properly inflated (to 61 psi). This gauge is accurate, reliable and capable of reading pressures in that psi range.

These tire covers (30-32” size) fit the View/Navion wheels snuggly and will help protect the tires from sun, dirt, corrosion and all types of weather while your rig is parked.

If you need to lift the rig for any reason, especially the back wheels since they are connected to both the parking and emergency brake, it’s best to chock the wheels. I’ve only used these once, but I’m glad I have them if/when the need arises.

This is an additional sensor for the TPMS system that I use for the spare tire. Monitoring the spare helps ensure that it never has a failure (i.e. ruptured by road debris) and its psi reading while driving also serves as a lower psi / cooler temp baseline for the other six tires on the road.

I always carry a spare set of batteries for the TPMS sensors. The sensor batteries are supposed to be replaced annually, but if they die sooner, I’ll be back up and running in minutes.

This is a great tool to remove / replace your simulators (for those of us that have the steel wheels). I use the rubber hammer every thousand miles or so to ensure that the simulators on the front wheels aren’t working themselves loose.
